Northeast Louisiana | My insurance agent told me if I get paid or charge for a deer lease. That my farm liability wont cover it. But if I let them hunt for free, my insurance covers them.
Bout decided if I charge, make them pay for insurance with my place on it. So far, I let a few hunt and they help take care of things on farm. Like bush hog places etc. The ones that hunt are no trouble at all. Very good people. I hunt also on other tracts I that I own and let others hunt where I dont hunt.
I would be interested what others say on here.
I will say this, not all deer hunters are bad. There is some good people out there.
