| Sounds like those cattle you bought have a very good reputation an more then likly people have had them before an performed well for them. I have been known to top the sale on some feeder cattle I buy. I am a sticker for quality an will pay extra to get it. I sell yearlings an people know this an I will top the market when I sell them by several dollars per hundred. Ive bought cattle that looked cheap at the time but turned out to be the most expensive ones I had. I have done this for years an am still in business. Must be doing something right.. My Dad an Grandad did the same. bought the best. Im the 3 generation and our farm has been in the family for 65 years. | |
