The grain was shipped into a local mill from many places and of course the weed seeds came with it. His cheap feed turned into a very expensive and troublesome problem
Anybody that buys/feeds soybean meal is buying weed seed whether they know it or not.
Soybeans move 100's and 1000's of miles from where they're grown to where the end product is used.
