WC MO | My uncle rode the last mile in a horse drawn hearse. he was a horseman from way back. it was the most tranquil graveside ceremony I've ever been to, with just the sound of the horses snorting and clopping up the gravel driveway and the birds chirping. they do a transfer from the motorcar to the horsedrawn about 3/4 or mile from the graveside. Its my understanding that any funeral home can make the arrangements for a horse drawn, they know who to call.
