There is an extremely well restored horse-drawn sleigh hearse on display at our local antique machinery show every year. Exterior is painted a semi-flat black with lots of mirror polished brass components. Always gets a good amount of attention from the show goers.
Our former fire chief was carried in the bed of a pumper.
I think a limiting factor for your idea would be high cost coupled with low demand from one town... | |
