The volumes of cylinders and cones are very fundamental mathematics. Google it if you have to, and just keep your units consistent - feet, meters, whatever it doesn't matter, then convert to bushels (google that too if you need to).

Why rely on someones rule of thumb estimates, etc., when the precise calculation is so easy. PI was figured out a few thousand years ago and they were measuring such things with amazing accuracy, without calculators, google, excel, or even a decent abacus - ok, they probably had an abacus.

God if we would only convert to the metric system, life would be so simple.....donning flame suit now for being a smart ass.....
