I started with a tarus 9mm. Couldn't hit well with it. Got a mk lll and wow. Could group with ease. Then got a sr9 ruger could hit well with that also. Better triggers. Got a sig and can hit with that well too even with the short barrel. If looking to shoot small groups doubt the m&p is the right pistol. Likely dependable and good for cc but not a target gun. IMHO
