| I just go off known bin diameters and bushels per foot then compute for whatever size your dealing with.
Knowns,
15'diameter = approx. 141 bu/foot
18' dia. = 204 bu/ft
22' = 305 bu./ft.
27'= 458 bu/ft.
30'= 567 bu./ft.
Don't know off hand what a 36' dia. bin is, but if a 30' is 567 bu./ft., then a 36 will be about 816 bu./ft. just by taking 36 X 36 and dividing by (30 by 30) 900 then multiplying by 567. Although the square feet of a 30' isn't 900, the squared ratio is the same for any diameter. If you're a stickler, 900 X .785 (3.14/4) works for actual square foot of a cylinder.
