Subject: RE: Manure analysis from bed pack barns

I've tested the manure out of my hoop barn two years. one year 51% H20, 16-19-33, next year was 60% H20, 20-12-43 Sulphur was 5-6# per ton. By the time you bale and haul bedding in and manure out, I figure I'm breaking even. The manure does things to ground that you can't do with fertilizer, ie biological activity, micro nutrients, Organic matter, slow release N. you're adding value to your crop residue by recycling.
