Just got done hiring bed pack manure spread on poor old farm 4.5 miles away. 15 ton to the acre @ $6.25 a ton. Guess I came out ok on fertilizer value vs. Spreading cost. Then I got to thinking. 3 big Fendt tractors. 3 expensive Bunning spreaders. Endloader, pickup, camper, fuel, labor, insurance. How the beck do they make it work on their end. Everything in cost and return is out of whack.
