nw oh | Agree with the above, I hope fertilizer savings offset handling, but after so many years fertility is high enough having to haul further increasing handling costs. Think sometimes the manure I give away that all I have to do is load there truck is my best deal.
Yields do benefit and more in it than just n p k. But compaction can be an issue.
For what it is worth our tests run 14-10-14 plus sulfur is pretty high. We feed a lot of wdgs so phosphorus and sulfur is higher | |
