I think it is too wet Dan. Dug many a plot after any fall tillage was done after conditions like these and these are some of the wettest conditions I ever saw and I can find those layers with my screwdriver every time in a soil pit in following years.
Last fall would have been ideal for it here but this fall I would not recommend it.
