How soon do you want us? I had asked last summer if anyone knew of ranchers/farmer who needed hogs killed. Are they around during the daytime or only at night? Would we be able to pursue them with a vehicle (pickup or Ranger)? Email is good.
I have seen a sounder in the middle of the day along a busy highway,but it was only on a cloudy day during rain. They were paralleling a big creek. Mostly I've spotted them at night. If on foot at night, they made so much noise squealing that I heard them long before they ever came into view. Once in a while a sow and her piglets will cross the road in front of me.
Almost twenty years ago I was told they hung out on the back of one farm. Never seen them until 5 or 6 years back. All were daytime sightings. It varies according to the season and particular locations. These areas were too thick and brushy to chase them with any vehicle. Gotta use hog dogs sometimes and that can open up lots of problems. | |
