Need some opinions on a new headgate. I don't need/cant afford a squeeze chute right now just not in budget. Already have a homemade palp cage set up just need a new headgate. I work cows 98% of the time by myself so really prefer automatic anybody got a good one that won't break my budget probably run 50 cows thru it 5 times a year and then calves 3 times the worst torture in life is pregchecking in a cheap chute. If you can't afford a good one then use a headgate. Priefert does make a decent head gate. I hate working in their chutes. Round rod on the floor that's only 1/2 inch when it should be inch square tube. Etc etc. |
