I've talked to my dad about the 80s and he said we're far from it here. Need some droughts with low prices. He did say his health insurance will probably break him before farming does.
In the 80's we had massive floods where we are at. Right before harvest we got a massive storm that took everything out stuff was under water for miles and losses were in thousands per acre on crops that are not covered by crop insurance. No this isn't nowhere the 80's that I lived through. |
