Combined beans are more dusty than combined corn.  As an extension bean trash will contain more dust than corn trash.  We made bean stalk bedding and will not every do it again.  It was not any harder on the machinery but the dust at bedding time was unbelievable, felt bad for the dry cows afterwards.  Like the guy above said - use a mask.
