NE of Des Moines | I have built a box around my water tanks, made out of treated two by six tongue and groove lumber. It fits snug but is still big enough to have two inch styrofoam insulation around the tank. Then put a top on it with holes big enough for the cows to get a drink. This water tank works for two different pens. I can go about three weeks later in the winter before putting in the heater and take it out sooner in the spring. | |
