NE, NE | I'm glad to hear even the ones that lost the flap are calm. This is the first year for me, I'll pull mine on Sunday (6 days) I had both pasture and dry lot situation this year and my pasture group hasn't lost a one. Now the drylot group, I've learned pretty quick the way I was feeding them wasn't going to work. Cows would squeeze the calves out and as the calves pulled back the flap would pull out as the calfs noes slipped between the two cows bellies. Lost 6 out of the 26 calves in that yard and didn't have time to reinstall them, time will tell. | |
