We like our Diamond C, have basically the same setup you're looking at, except our dove tail isn't hydraulic and we've got the 12,000# axles. Our 1 ton has no trouble pulling it loaded and if loaded right you can almost forget it's back there!

Anyways, we've had no issues with ours and was definitely worth the price new.
