South central Minnesota | Finally having a stretch of drier weather, that means nothing over a .1 for last week or so but the huge rain event of sept is still hampering harvest here. Can't finish soybeans because too muddy to get to a field and it's been foggy/very light rain as others have said that isn't helping. Water standing in other spots that will keep us from finishing soybeans and corn anytime soon. It looks like it will have to freeze to get across all the acres but even then there will be abandoned acres. Feel lucky to have as much done as we have actually. Very good to excellent yields otherwise helping to ease the stress. | |
