Milford, IL | My wife and I and our two boys switched to Samaritan Ministries International about two years ago. We are very happy with the program. Runs about $500 a month for a family of four.
Our only medical expense during that time was the birth of our second child - everything worked as intended with Samaritan. Our out of pocket expenses were very reasonable when comapred to a traditional BCBS policy.
As a side note, ten years ago my BCBS policy was $80 a month with a 1.5k deductible and 80/20 thereafter. It had risen to $700 a month with a 6k deductible per person two years ago when we made the switch. I had ZERO claims in that period of time, but like everybody else, the ACA made our traditional insurance policy unaffordable.
- edited to add - I'm 30, my wife is 28, our oldest boy is 3 years old and our youngest is 9 months old.
