s.c. north dakota | She is a salaried employee, the main reason she didn't try to hire a temp. is the amount of training involved. Her hope was that she would be able to keep the ship afloat with a bit of help from the Eligibilty worker that was on leave. I know it was within her rights to quit, but it sure doesn't seem fair to the employer to let them think you are returning to work, at least they could have started the search for her replacement. But I suppose then she wouldn't have had full benefits. I also realize that my wife is working herself into an early grave, but that stubborn German work ethic just wont let her relax. I'm just hoping that I can convince her to slow down for her own good. | |
