| How do you know her intent all along was to quit before coming back? Maybe having the time away from her job to reflect on what a crappy work environment she had inspired her to make a change. After seeing how hard it is on your wife, imagine how hard it would be for a young mother to work in the same conditions. She earned the time off as part of her compensation package - you wouldn't ask her to give back any other benefits received, would you? Blind loyalty to a workplace that doesn't give a dang about you is just plain stupid. How much loyalty would the commissioners show if the funding for your wife's job went away? I'm guessing none. | |
