Subject: RE: Have coyotes caught everything

Floyd County, Iowa
I chased a total of 2 rabbits out this year doing corn. No pheasants.
We had some pheasants this spring, several hens and roosters. Even had some hatchlings running around. We've really been seeing a lot of 'yotes around here the last few years. Have had them within 50 yards of the house, yipping, trying to lure the dogs out. Our cats have all but disappeared.
But I've got a couple stubborn badgers digging holes. Those are going to leave, one way or the other.
Between those damn coyotes, eagles, hawks, and the torrential rains this year, we don't see coons, skunks, pheasants, or rabbits. Not that I want coons around anymore.
