Northeast Maine/Southern New Hampshire.		Don't be making fun of that fine machine !!!

My great grandfather started making green grass silage cutting it with several teams of horses and wind rowed and loaded manually using forks.

Hauled into a big pile in a dugout pit .

Because it was not chopped,.it had to be cut with a hay knife.

Then hauled by horses to.the cows.
