Subject: RE: Borrowing stuff out

One or two times and that will tell you all you need to know. Years ago the spoiled neighbor boy called about a broken clutch pedal in his jeep which was the second of two vehicles his parents bought him at same time while in high school. When I crawled out from under he said "how long is that gonna last?" No thanks or nothing. After that I came home and he banged on my door. Asked if I had any tow straps cause his jeep was stuck. I said no, only chains. He said we'll get some straps so I can borrow them next time. I said how about you never come on my property again. And they live across the street from me. Another neighbor asked to borrow my tile saw for a small project. Within a day they had us over for a steak dinner with all the fixings. You learn who reciprocates and who appreciates. Move on
