We do a lot of summer fallow tillage. Takes about .5 gallon to the acre each trip and we will make 2-4 trips between crops. Then the drill or planter is probably .3 gal per acre, and a spraying trip is even less. Harvest can be highly variable as our crops are variable in yield, generally towards the lower side. So I'll say .8 gal per acre for the combine at the most.

So I would estimate 3-4 gallons per acre per year on average.
