Subject: RE: Corn Moisture in the Dakotas

South Dakota
We've taken out a quarter plus a little more. The quarter we took out is lighter ground and so it didn't take the hot dry weather very well. It was 101 and 103 day and average 15.7%, It yielded terrible. Had some of the same 103 day variety and it was no tilled, it went 17% moisture and 180 bpa. We're transitioning back to beans today, we'll see what the moisture is like. We already took out 250 acres of beans and yields were outstanding.
