North Central Illinois | Agreed. My guess would be the sales rep did not do his job with the customer. Getting a producer to commit to buy your product is only part of the equation when it comes to being a seed dealer. The most important part is understanding the producer's soils and productivity and then product placement. Ag Reliant companies generally do a really good job with all of that. Like any company I am sure they have reps that do nothing but sell bags no matter what it is just to get the volume. There is also the chance that the customer insisted on something cheap and got what he paid for. | |
