Subject: RE: Pell lime on soys

Central Florida
I read a research article years ago where they applied pell lime on one wheat plot, potash on another and both pell lime and potash on the last plot. They had a modest yield response on the first two plots but a significant yield response on the combination plot. The combination plot increase was more than the sum of both of the other two plots. They said that potash acts like a dump truck carrying other nutrients with it up the stem to the leaves. Getting more calcium into a plant will increase yields.
