Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I think that is correct also. It is not going to damage anything, and I often use it loading cattle where the truck is on an incline because I have had the tractor slip and allow a gap at the chute when the cattle go in the trailer.
But 99% of the time I only use the yellow as it is much faster when releasing. With most trailers that is. Pull it out with my thumb on the red one.
