Finger meters were used for soybeans for a lot of years, until we found much better options. Some guys still use them, but vacuum meters work much better. In a research plot situation on corn, I can find them acceptable enough, but in field use on small seeded grains, I wouldn't even consider it, but for that price, put a couple rows on and see what you think of them.
