| In dry peas, we have a sickle bar hay mower and mow weedy dry peas. Have part of an old horse mower turner built for pea mowing to flip peas at the end of the bar over to keep wheel from running on cut peas. Doesn't work real well, and we loose more peas than I like. Still in really bad weeds we have to use it. Neighbors use a swather, but last year they had huge areas of lentils roll away in the wind from the swather rows. If you can wait for the weeds to dry, that would be best. A local guy defoliated one field with roundup I think. Couldn't believe how easily it harvested.
