NW Central Ohio | ...I seriously doubt you would be able to spray trichlopyr on the poison ivy and plant soybeans the next year. Yes it does kill the ivy. Glyphosate on poison ivy in the fall has a better chance of killing the vine than glyphosate in the spring. By the way...if you're using 30% as a carrier, you're limiting your glyphosate's effectiveness. If the ivy has been sprayed for years with glyphosate..maybe it's resistant. Frankly a dose of a good old moldboard plow would probably kill it as fast as anything.
