Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
The unverferth baskets do a good job in our land. We used to run dedicated "perfecta" field cultivators, but now we just put a Rolling Harrow II behind the disk. I've never had one clog up. Bearings are just bearings, depends on the conditions they run in. They're easy cheap bearings to replace. They will fluff or pack depending which way you face the baskets. We put ours in the packing position, but we're farming light sandy ground. They make a decent seed bed in my opinion. There are thousands of them in the mid-atlantic region.
