Farwell, Tx | I took over a farm 2 years ago that had been strip tilled previous years mainly for the fertilizer placement. I took soil samples and everything was depleted because all your doing is fertilizing that strip and not the whole field..
I'm not positive on my theory but I think if you want to build your ground up for years to come I say broadcast is a better option.. Variable rates is a plus only if your ground changes a lot imo.
My yields are increasing every year on that farm with covers and broadcasting fertilizer.. | |
