So far,,,,, it's been warm enough to get the leaves off with two shots of oil, generic Dropp, and some Karmex.  That was on cotton that we really didn't have enough of a top to worry about and just shredded the green bolls down. 

This stuff has a least a quarter bale on top, most should be over a half bale of top crop.  We're just not used to dealing with cool weather, normally dropping leaves in late August or early September. 

I used a quart of ephephon with generic dropp  (second shot) on the last field to open some top, did OK.  Just didn't get all the mature ones opened.  Seemed to do better on the immature ones, they were almost all opened.  And that was after 11 days of 80+ degree heat.
