West Central IL | I don't mind mowing if it's once every two weeks. I mow probably 4 acres between my house and our farm and bin sites. If I mow everything, it takes about 3 hours of two afternoons by the time I load the mower up and haul it, or drive it to another farm. I mow with a 2520 Deere with a 72" belly mower. I have an old '74 110 that I normally mow around my house with, it's easier to get around with. About half the time the wife mows with it though. This year I was getting mowed out though. Having to do it every week was almost too much. I let it go as of late when we got in the fields. We're slowly catching back up with it when we have a free few minutes. Might have to take the 15' mower to some of it now though. | |
