I spray mine in the fall with Trimec. It takes care of the clover, chickweed and dandelions and more. That is just what I am fighting in my yard. Spiking it with 2-4D does help as well. Depending on what strength you get is how much you need. If you get it from Home Depot, Lowe's etc, it takes one gallon in a 30 gallon sprayer, spraying at 3 miles per hour. If you get the "hotter" Trimec, it takes 80 oz. per 30 gallons. Sorry, I cannot remember the concentrate numbers.
