Subject: RE: Hurricane Mathew

South-Central Virginia
We have had between 3-4" last night and today with a big batch coming this way. Had about 8.5" the last two weeks before this hit. We are getting WAY rain more than forecasted but not real windy yet. They say 30 mph gusts tonight.

All my beans need to be cut. Still have about 85 acres of corn to shell. Moved all equipment to the field on Tuesday when forecast path looked like it was coming close. Forecast path moved east and corn was still 23% (no dryer), so I decided to wait. Time will tell if that was a mistake.
