South Central MN | We got a New Holland with a 3 bar harrow in front of the baskets two years ago, and we love it. Just like most others say, it firms the bottom and leaves the top loose, and levels very well. The one problem we have had is cornstalks. If there is a lot of residue in the field, the baskets tend to float over the trash instead of mixing it up. It still works fine, just needs some adjustments going from bean ground to corn ground. Just make sure you don't drag a wing through a wet spot and let the mud dry, or you'll need a jackhammer to clean the baskets out.
