Subject: RE: Spraying Lawn

NW Iowa
I have been experimenting with Grazonnext, spot spraying with a pump sprayer for white clover. I don't know what the difference is between Next and straight Grazon. I mix it at the rate of 4oz Grazonnext to 2 1/2 gallons water with no adjuvant. I have been experimenting with a few random patches before I go whole hog with it because if the grass is killed the Tordon in Grazon might prevent reseeding for a few years, not good. So far I have found you don't want to soak the clover or the grass will brown. Just a moderate spray, the equivalent to 15 gallons per acre coverage seems to wilt the clover pretty good but the grass stays green. Use at your own discretion.
