I would venture a bet that once they lowered the hours, the contract is probably half void anyways.
My thought also, if the contract spells them out as full time employed at 40 hours/week it is null and void. Quit anytime. I'm guessing you're also right they may be just as relieved right now. If they quit and the company raises a big stink, they could fight it on the grounds that the 30 days is preventing them from full time employment, especially if benefits and insurance are incolved. |
