NY | I personally would give the 30 days notice, does that mean he has to stay for 30 days. Be honest with the current employer and the future one. if you were a good employee maybe the boss would let you leave before the 30 days or give you what you need to keep you around. And the new employer would respect that you're honest and willing to fulfill prior obligations like you said you would. Most likely you jump ship and leave early the current employer will think your a D bag and will leave on bad terms. Most likely the 30 days was added because people just up and left and left the company hanging. Its disappointing that every one now adays is only looking out for themselves both employers and employees. I think this country and world would be a better place if people stopped caring so much about themselves. Sorry for the long post I just think honesty and integrity is the best policy for me. Even if it is not in my best interest at the moment. | |
