south texas
Mine get hauled 1-10 miles max. Most are less than 5. I agree on the low yeild years. 1 bale cotton will keep us from getting any insurance and pay full tech prices. Seed costs are up from a few uears ago. In 2010 i planted 832 LL for $180 per bag, this year fm 2007 was about $350. Not sustainable at 1 bale crop. Bought 2 7445s this year for $45k. Will do all i need if i can keep people operating the support equipment. .14-.15 for balers here. Some baskets in area for .10-.12. I had them help us finish with a 2 bale crop.
