south texas | What do u fellow cotton farmers think. Not many basket machines left in my area, but 60-70% or more is custom harvested. I do my own with basket strippers. The comparison of 1 moduel to 4 rounds per truck is misleading to people who dont know rounds. Its the same amount of picked cotton is packed correctly. Alos the traps are way off. The rounds are one time use while the conv is reusable. My gin provides conv tarps. Rounds are all farmer payed here. Figured $10 per bale to cover rounds. The baler is a awesome step forward in cotton harvest if u can afford it. Its out of my budget for 700a.
