It's an annual occurance around here. There is no corn dried around here, so it's all harvested at 15% on down. By the time we get into harvest a week or so, we're getting to 10-11% moisture. Varieties make a difference too. Color doesn't make a lot of difference either, there are clean fields and green fields behind every brand of machine around this area.
