NW Ohio | Plant the rye, wait until it tillers, then apply the 2,4-D and dicamba. It's better to apply in November time frame anyhow, post frost. As per the 2,4-D and wheat, best to apply after it tillers a little. Some weeds like marestail don't give a hoot about sharpen or glyphosate, and 2,4-D or dicamba are the best options. The twisting is also varietal; some take it better then others. Do NOT apply after Feeke's 5. Bottom line is follow the label; at least a week before planting (labels are different, some say 7 up to 14), or after tillering. | |
