Moreauville LA | Worked off the farm for a couple years after college. Im too practical and hard headed to work for someone else, deal with their inefficiencies, rules and so on.
Now, realizing I was likely very ADHD and the teachers didn't like me much, I failed to achieve high grades, but have done well. Therefore, what other occupation could you be:

Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental engineer

Office Manager

And home every night
And EVERY DAY I think what it would be like to sell out, but I compare the upbringing of my kids in this vs. the non ag folks, we have a good deal going.
What other job can you get up early, kill a limit of squirrel, get on a tractor and lay off 200 ac rows, do a favor for an elderly neighbor and get paid with a dozen of yard eggs, shoot our bows before dark and sit down for supper as a family and not have to explain a damn thing to anyone.
