Southeast WI | Since you want to go beans next year even a half kill would be good now. It's tough to get a complete kill in spring by waiting that long. Alf and soybeans aren't a good mix together and you want the alfalfa dead. Really needs to go into the low 20's to make alfalfa go dormant, but you will also have green crown vegetation that will take up the 2,4-D. I'd go with a qt per acre when it warms up. | |
